Job Role:
The Internal Sales Representative is a key member of the sales team and contributes in generating sales for the business. Working alongside internal and field sales team to execute the sales strategy required to achieve and exceed sales targets. It’s a great way to learn about the business, products and sales process.

Job Tasks:
•    Internal Sales
o    Manage inbound sales calls and website enquiries
o    Work alongside marketing on the direct campaigns
o    Contact potential or existing customers to follow up or inform them about a product or service
o    Answer questions about products or the company
o    Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales
o    Direct prospects to the field sales team or qualify when needed
o    Enter and update customer information in the database
o    Identify and acquire new customers through research and referral
o    Provide basic quotations using SAP
o    Manage opportunity pipeline/sales process to meet sales targets
o    Negotiate and close opportunities
o    Customer account management 
o    Work alongside Marketing Team to coordinate sales efforts to raise awareness and generate sales
•    Work alongside Marketing to develop database to generate prospects to meet or exceed sales targets
•    CRM (SalesForce) Administration
o    Record all customer information and details of any contact in the CRM database (Salesforce)
o    Monitoring Checks/Housekeeping CRM
o    Liaising with the sales team and relevant in-house departments in relation to customer orders, processing of sales orders on SAP and update the CRM as appropriate.
•    Tender Support
•    Office support, when required:
•    Maintain good relationships with customers, distributors, suppliers and internal staff

Candidate requirements: 
•    Minimum 2 years’ experience
•    Natural sales flair with the ability to work to targets
•    Organised problem solver with a positive can-do attitude.                                                               
•    Ability to recognise, respond and resolve challenges
•    Diligent, organised, with strong time management skills.
•    Emotionally intelligent and empathetic, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
