HERSHAM
SALARY £40K-£45K
About the Role:
Our client is looking for a highly motivated, passionate and reliable individual with an excellent eye for detail to join their close-knit team managing key accounts. The role will involve managing the whole process for the client, from design brief to sample stage to order delivery. This is a fast-paced and ever-changing role so the successful candidate will need to be highly flexible and adaptable and happy to get involved in all aspects of the role.
The ideal candidate will be adept in building strong relationships with strategic customers. You will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote the company’s solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction.
The goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing the business to achieve long-term success.
Main Responsibilities:
- Briefing the design team on developments, making any changes with them and ensuring deadlines are met
- Liaising with suppliers to ensure samples are received in good time
- Managing client expectation on all aspects of their brief
- Pulling together costings across multiple supply bases and providing workable costings that hit margin and are in line with client targets
- Cross quoting products across the supply base to achieve most competitive price for the client whilst still maintaining best quality
- Being aware of current trends and competitor products on the market
- Filling out and maintaining information files for all products
- Placing client orders, managing the critical path and arranging deliveries of stock
- Being creative with client ideas to bring them to life whilst still ensuring compliance and practicality
- Actively seeking new clients to grow our portfolio
Candidate Requirements:
- Adaptable and flexible – needs to maintain effectiveness in a fast moving/changing environment with varying tasks
- Highly organised in all tasks
- Confidence with approaching potential new clients to begin and grow new relationships
- Ideally needs knowledge of product development process
- Can do attitude – proactive and takes initiative
- Meticulous with attention to detail
- Ability to work alone and within a team
- Excellent communication skills with client and suppliers
- Ability to handle pressure and be able to multi-task
- Proven time keeping and efficiency
- Committed to achieving results
- Microsoft Office knowledge – Word, Excel & PowerPoint
